Heather is lying in bed, Emery walks in with a book…
“Book! Book!”
“Ok.” Heather lifts Emery up on the bed. “Do you know who that is?”
“Ay-den.”
“No, that’s Santa.”
“Sa-tan.”
“No, not Satan, Santa. San-ta.”
“Sa-TAN.”
“No. San-ta.”
“SA-TAN!”
A glimpse into the life of Heather, Barney, Lindsay, and Emery Boisvert.
I don’t really get to bitch about the exhaustion I’m feeling after sitting up awake in uncomfortable Maternity Ward chairs for the past two days, as that right is reserved for my sister, who, though getting to lay down while doing it, just went through two days of hard work, pain, frustration and the like. But don’t worry, there’s a happy ending in there somewhere!
At 3:08 am today (May 16th 2007), my fourth nephew, Owen Patrick Whisler entered this world. I’m so excited he’s finally here! And I can already tell he’s going to give Emery a run for his money in the height department! At 10 pounds 13 ounces and 22 inches long, with a 15cm head, the labor was not fast, nor easy for his momma, but he’s here and healthy, and that’s all one can ask for when it comes to a pregnancy and delivery! I’m hoping this post makes sense, as I’m feeling a little ditsy after being awake for over 24 hours straight. ;) I’ll try to post some pics later today and let you all know how everything is going.
Welcome to the world OWEN! We love you so much.
