Playgroup at The Museum

We headed to the Children’s Museum this morning with our playgroup.
Working Together To Bury Lindsay Alive It’s a great place to get out of this wonderful Oregon weather. It couldn’t decide if it wanted to snow or just pour with rain today, but it didn’t matter to those of us having fun inside! Go check out the pics of Lindsay, Emery, and some of their friends!

Magical…

Emery and Lindsay are currently screaming in their rooms, different pathetic, sometimes angry, sometimes sad, some high, some low, sometimes “MaaaaaMaaaaaaaa“, sometimes “Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh” kinds of cries. Two minutes ago I heard this from Lindsay’s bedroom:
I want Momma more than YOU DO EMERY, so BE QUIET!!! You’re supposed to be sleeping!”

Yep, the day has been just.that.magical.

Eat your What?

(Barney standing in bathroom, naked, waiting for shower to get hot; Heather lying in bed.)

“I want to eat your ass and die,” says Heather.

“What?” Barney replies.

“I want your ass and thighs.”

“Oh, of course, I’m beautiful.”

(Barney steps into the shower shaking his head.)

Weekend Away

We headed to the coast this past weekend to kick it with family - Warrenton style. ;) That entails lots of eating, lounging about the house, peace and quiet, playing in the yard, playing in the house, etc. A nice little visit. I took some pics, mostly of the fence line being pushed out to make room for a cool swing to be built between two large trees. Pepere, being the wonderful man that he is, and loving to see the kids playing out there, already built the kiddos a very nice sandbox to play in, which they did. I think he loves playing with them and getting the chance to be a big kid himself! ;) By the time that man is done, the kids will have their own little piece of heaven out there and never want to come home! ;) Hmmmm, I see a hidden plot here…..
Enjoy the few pics I snapped!

Helping Daddy And Discovery Village

While uploading some photos today, photos that have been sitting in my camera for way too long, I discovered some other photos that I had forgotten to upload and share with you all!

So, the first ones are from the beginning of January. Barney decided to wash his motorcycle in the freezing cold, and the kiddos decided they wanted to share in the insanity and help him out! I snuck out and took a few photos and then dashed back into the warmth of the house. :)

The other photos I forgot to show you are from a few weeks ago, when we took a trip to A.C. Gilbert’s Discovery Village down in Salem. A.C. Gilbert was the inventor of the Erector Set, and many other toys and trinkets (among other achievements, like being an Olympic Gold Medalist!). He was born in and lived in Salem, and this estate of three or four awesome Victorian houses has been transformed into a sort of hands-on childrens’ museum dedicated to him. We had a lot of fun, so much so that I got pics of hardly anything! Check it out.
