Here comes another random entry. This doesn’t mean that we’ve been up to nothing however, just that we’ve been so busy, I haven’t had time to whip out the camera or sit down to write a post!
Lindsay’s as sassy as ever, and Emery as unpredictable. He’s so funny, he’s either an absolute joy to be with, smiling and giggling at everything around him, or he’s an absolute grump, waking only to eat, and then wanting to be put back in his crib for yet another nap! Makes life very interesting and sometimes challenging. Lindsay now thinks she’s so grown up that she spends her days reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Last night as we were driving home from Carrie and Sim’s house, she kept asking us, "Remember when we all played football? Remember how I kicked the ball to Aaron? That was so fun! We’ll play football again." She was remembering the Superbowl party at Carrie’s, when we all went outside to toss the football during half time so as not to have to watch the skeletons, I mean Stones, gyrating their hips on stage. She then went on to ask, "Remember Harry Potter Pumpkin? At Halloween? He’s such a cute boy. I’ll carve my VERY OWN Harry Potter pumpkin next Halloween. AND I’ll help Emery pick out a BIG HUGE pumpkin!" That, as most of you know, is a reference to the pumpkin Carrie carved last Halloween with Harry’s face on it. It was the start of Lindsay’s Harry Potter obsession. I think it was all part of Carrie’s plan to gain yet another loyal Harry Potter fan.
Anyway, we’re all having fun, and I have to run! Our schedule never seems to slow down! Check out the few random pics I’ve managed to snap the past few days.
Ooooh! I love it! And last night after Lindsay woke up from her “nap” she said, “Remember whenever I come over to your house I like to sleep in your beds. With the little blue bear.” Oh I just love that kid!
I just finished looking at your latest pics. The “toy pile” reminds me of Lindsay’s masterpiece on my fridge: a color pencil drawing covered with every single magnet I own–to the point that you can’t even see the picture underneath. I must remember to take a picture of that as well. Oh and when I tried to tell her it was beautiful, she kept insisting, “When I am done!”
