I am alive. Kids are alive. We are all ok.
Ok, so I’m gonna write more than that. That was simply for dear Carrie’s benefit. 
So
things are going well here in Bellingland. You haven’t heard from
me in a while because, well, I’m tired and I’m a slacker, and those two
things do not go well together. In all honesty, I don’t really
deserve to say I’m all that tired, because Emery only wakes up once a
night, while many babies still wake up four times a night until they’re
almost a year old! And last night….are you ready for this…..I
didn’t have to feed him! Notice I didn’t say he didn’t wake up,
because I’m not actually sure whether he did or didn’t. You see,
we plugged the dehumidifier back in and it goes off and on all night,
and it’s rather loud, and I very well may have been sleeping so soundly
that if he woke up and didn’t make a huge racket, I might not have
heard him and he may have just grumped himself back to sleep. I
went in and checked on him at 5, because my body was not used to
sleeping past 4, and there he was, sound asleep, no grumbling or
twitching at all. SCORE! I jumped back into bed and slept
for another two hours, when he finally woke me up. Not only that,
but he woke me up through the racket of the dehumidifier….which makes
me wonder if he actually did sleep all night…..Hmmmmmm.
Anyway,

haven’t done so already, go check out the pics on both Chloe and Carrie’s sites. They’ve got some good ones and have been far more diligent about putting them up in a timely manner than I have.
Ok,
I plan to get back into writing more often. (That could very well
mean TWICE a month! Aren’t you all lucky!) ;)
Just bare with me as I settle into this new life, new schedule, new me,
etc etc.
