So there we are, sitting down to watch Lindsay’s first
glimpse of the Fraggles. The music starts up, cue adorable
dancing Fraggles……

That’s funny. Nikolai still only recognizes the Muppets and Mr. Incredible, but then, he’s never really seen anything else. Ah, the joys of not having TV.
See, that’s the funny thing. She’s never actually seen Elmo on t.v. We just have this one bath book with him as the main character, and she’s seen the big Elmo stand up toys at costco, and she just latched onto him. She loves him! I just couldn’t believe it when she called the Fraggles Elmo (I think because of their big eyes and color).
When I was growing up I thought any puppet-type monster thing was a Muppet. Oh how the times have changed. *sigh*
