I’m the biggest dumbass ever. I can’t believe it but I completely forgot about my wonderful Mother-in-Law’s
birthday! I have this amazing knack for remembering peoples’
birthdays about a week AFTER they’ve passed. Don’t ask me why,
because I still haven’t figured out why my internal clock is
consistantly a week behind each year.
It really sucks though,
and I feel like the worst daughter-in-law ever. No card, no phone
call, nothing. So I have to appologize and share my embarrassment
with the internet as a little bit of punishment.
Dodo,
we love you so much, and are so sorry we missed your birthday. We
will definitely make it up to you. I’m not sure how yet, but we
will find a way. I hope your birthday went well, and I can’t wait
to celebrate with you next year! Happy Belated Birthday!

In my sister’s defense… shouldn’t her BIOLOGICAL SON have maybe remembered his own mother’s birthday??? Just a thought.
Chloe - you’ll notice that neither of my biological children remembered my birthday. This does not bode well for my ‘old age’.
