I am seriously more confused right now than I have ever been in my entire life.
I just got Lindsay up from her nap, and changed her like I always do when I get her up. Well, I found a necklace sitting in the bottom of her diaper,
where I usually find much less desirable objects! No joke.
A necklace. I just stood there staring at her for a moment like
she was some thing that had taken over my daughter. How…what…eh?
Oh, she must have slipped it in there while you weren’t looking, you
say. I thought the same thing initially but then realized she’s
been wearing her footed, long sleeved onesie pagamas all day and
there’s absolutely no way even David Copperfield could have slipped
that necklace into the diaper wearing that. Not to mention that
I’ve changed her several times already today, so if she had somehow
done that yesterday, well, you understand.
And when I started to think about it, I was looking for that necklace
last night to put back into the cup in the bathroom that it’s always
in. Lindsay’s favorite thing to do while we’re in the bathroom is
to put the necklace in the cup and rattle it around because it makes a
really cool noise, then dump it out and start all over again. But
it wasn’t anywhere to be found last night when I was tidying up, which
I found very curious.
Could she really have eaten it and pooped it back out? It doesn’t
seem possible because of how very clean it was, just sitting there in
her diaper.
I repeat, SO CONFUSED!!!
Sorry, no help from us.
But your writing is very entertaining!!
Where, indeed, did that necklace come from?!?
LOL
It brings a whole new meaning to finding “little surprises” in her diaper. What a character!!!
Well, you know how hard it is to keep a woman from her jewelry.
She could been trying to put it on last night and it fell down the back of her jammies, getting caught on a thread. It hung back there until at some point when she was WALKING, it fell into the diaper.
How ’bout that?!?
Now if you could only get her to poop CASH… hmmm…
