Thanksgiving

Well, we survived another family holiday extravaganza.

Barney took several days off of work and we headed down to Portland to spend Thanksgiving with my family. In total, I think there were 20 of us there including Lindsay and Deontay, the two munchkins. We had a lot of fun, devoured a ton of food, and ate leftovers for the next three days! I’m so sick of turkey sandwiches!

As you’ll see if you go to the November gallery, we posted a couple pics from that day, but no, there are unfortunately none of Lindsay or I.

I’ve mentioned my complete lack of remembering to bring things pertaining to the camera along with me to important events before, have I not? (like Lindsay’s birth for instance…) Well, this time, it was the batteries. So all you can see are the few shots I took before my camera completely died. Why didn’t you just grab some more batteries you ask? Well, we had Thanksgiving at a friend of the family’s house while he was out of town (don’t worry, he offered) and we didn’t know where any spare batteries might be hiding. Yes, I suck, I know. I’m just hoping I can get some copies of the pics that the other folks there took. We’ll see. You of course will be the first to know if I do.

In that picture of the table, it looks like there are more bottles of wine than place settings. You know how to do Thanksgiving right! :)
So who are all those people you celebrated Thanksgiving with anyway? Some of those names are foreign to me…
