But it is my sister! And that’s just as exciting. At least to me.
Yay, Chloe’s having a baby! She thinks she’s about 8 weeks along, and just today, she and Patrick went to their first doctor appointment and heard the tiny heartbeat. *sniffle* I remember those moments. Very special. They were both blubbering idiots of course, as we all are when we first hear that beautiful spark of new life we’ve created. There’s nothing more precious than the first fluttering whooshing sound you hear through the doppler to let you know that, yes, this is the real thing. You’re going to be a parent. Prepare yourself for the most absolute joy and utter frustration you’ve ever known.
Ah, fond memories.
I can’t wait to be an auntie again. Another adorable munchkin to cuddle. And this one I get to spoil and teach awful habits and phrases, and not be responsible for the consequences! Mwahahaha!
