Fun, Fun, Fun…

Lindsay and I joined all of the area MOMS Clubs at the local Childrens’ Museum yesterday. They’re doing an exhibit right now on shelters of all shapes and sizes. Everything is, of course, interactive, so we got to crawl through groundhog tunnels, play inside a huge tree, a snake pit, a bird nest, a bee hive, a fishing lodge, a japanese house, and an igloo, just to name a few.

We had a lot of fun, and I wish I’d brought my camera with me, but hopefully Joanna will give me a copy of the pics she took of Lindsay and I playing with the Eskimo baby in the igloo. :)

Turns out Lindsay is kind of a chicken when it comes to trying new things. She refused to go into any of the shelters unless I crawled into them first. Let me just tell you, squeezing through that tiny igloo opening was no small feat! When the rest of the mommies came by and saw BOTH of us in there, they cracked up and couldn’t figure out how on earth I’d gotten in! We had a lot of fun though, so it was worth it.

Oh please let Joanna let you have the pictures! I desperately want to see you squeezed into an igloo! :)
