It’s soooooo good to be back. Don’t get me wrong, I loved our trip, but it is just so nice to be back on our own schedule, in our own beds, and back with Barney.
We drove down to the Fresno area for a week for my grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and for the 4th of July. Lindsay was a complete angel on the 14 hour drive down to CA, and on the even longer one back! She only fussed for a tiny bit, and who could blame her. Mostly though, she either slept, or played with me, or just entertained herself, talking to her toys.
I think she may have started teething while we were down there though, because she was pretty grumpy a few of the days. Not really herself. It may have just been all of the unfamiliar surroundings and people though, who really knows. She’s gotten really clingy, which I’m trying to work on, getting more people to hold her and such. Oh, and I don’t know if I mentioned before, but she can now roll over from front to back, and vice versa. Also, since I seem to have slipped into “Lindsay update” mode, I weighed her today and she weighs 19 pounds 4 ounces. We have her official 6 month checkup on Monday, so I’ll give everyone the scoop on weight and height next week. Poor thing….more shots coming her way and she doesn’t even know it.
Once I put the pictures from our trip on here, I’ll tell a few of the highlights and funny stories from our trip. Right now I’m going to go make some dinner though, so you’ll just have to be patient.
