Lindsay seems to be going through this weird phase right now where she cries almost every time I lay her down! Even if I’m hovering over her, playing and smiling at her, she still cries like she’s dying until I pick her up. Then most of the time she’s better, but occasionally even that doesn’t soothe her right away, as though she has to let me know just how terrible it really was that no one was holding her for that split second I took to go to the bathroom! I really don’t want her to be clingy, so I’ve tried to give her just as much down time as holding time, but she is just really wanting to be held constantly right now! It’s kinda driving me nuts. 
Nice to be wanted and all, but it’s also nice to give my arms a break and get some stuff done around the house ya know? 
Oh well, hopefully she’ll get over it soon!
It may be she hates not being able to see as much lying down as in your arms. You may want to try propping her sitting up in the Boppy or something. Nikolai always got mad if he couldn’t see what was going on.
