Weeeeee’re Off To See The Auntie…

Once again, Lindsay and I are headed to Portland for the week to help Chloe and Patrick move in to their new house! Boy, we better get help moving into ours when we get it, I can tell you that! ;) They owe us many visits! I’ll probably try driving this time, so I’ll actually take the camera and all of the other little stuff I wanted to take last time but couldn’t carry by myself on the train. You know what that means! Another nice installment of Lindsay pictures! Ok, ok, quiet down, the cheering is deafening….
So, there should be new pictures next weekend and new stories all next week. Stay tuned…..

The Jolly Pink Giant

Went and weighed Lindsay today after our walk with some of the gals from the MOMS Club. Boy is she growing quickly! She now weighs 16lb 14oz, almost 17 pounds and still under 4 months! I didn’t measure her, but I’m sure she’s gotten longer too. Her new thing is giggling hysterically at night, before we put her to bed, while her daddy holds her on his lap and I laugh at her and shake my head around. Very cute, trust me.

Bad Mommy

I found out today that I should have made Lindsay’s 4 month doctors appointment a while ago, instead of a week before she needed to be seen! I guess those routine appointments fill up early, which never really made any sense to me…..I could easily call tomorrow and get an appointment for her the next day, but if it’s a “routine” appointment, I can’t get in until the end of May! Oh well, she’ll get another couple of weeks of not having to have needles stabbed into her legs.
Our stay in Portland was very nice as usual. We got to help Chloe clean up her and Patricks’ new house. It’s a very nice house with lots of space and a great back yard. I’ll take some pictures next time we’re there. Sorry, didn’t take the camera on this last trip, so no new pics yet! Lindsay’s Uncle Stuart actually held her for the first time while we were down there. He’s not very comfortable around babies, but we forced him to hold her, and he did a great job.
We also went to Barney’s cousin, Teresa’s wedding last weekend. I’m afraid Lindsay might have taken away some of the attention, and I felt bad about that, but what can you do….she’s just too darn cute! ;) She even gave her Pepere a few fits of giggles while we were there, and I think that made his day, so that was great to see. Now people know I’m telling the truth about the squealing and giggling! :)
