Ok, so I’ve always considered myself an animal lover, but recently, I have just wanted my cat Pippin to disappear. I know that sounds cruel and heartless, but I’m just getting really tired of paying for and dealing with him constantly trying to commit suicide! Barney would just love for me to put him down every time I take him to the vet because he’s sick of shelling out tons of money to fix up this cat that just keeps hurting himself, but I can’t bring myself to put down a perfectly good and sweet cat when the only thing wrong with him is an abcess in his leg, ya know? I’m seriously thinking about trying to find him a new home though…the only problem is that he and his brother Merry are very attached and I think it would be really hard on them both to be split up. The fact that we’re most likely going to be moving soon also worries me. I’m worried about them and cars in the new neighborhood we move into. We haven’t really had to think about that where we are now. I don’t know….what’s the answer?

Poor Lindsay seems to have caught my cold…..I’ve had a stuffy nose for about a week now, and I was really trying to be careful and wash my hands a lot and all of that so that she wouldn’t catch it…..didn’t seem to work. Her nose has been a tiny bit runny, but I’m mostly worried about the stuff I can’t see, but I can hear! I don’t want it going down into her lungs and giving her bronchitis or anything like that! I’m constantly sucking her nose out with the nasal aspirator we got from the hospital. Let me assure you, this is not Lindsay’s favorite game. I imagine she thinks I’m sucking the life out of her through her nose!
Every time she tries to breath in deeply, she starts coughing, poor thing. I can’t decide if I should take her to the doctor, or if I’m just being paranoid…..feel free to leave a comment and let me know 
Ok, ok, so I didn’t blog…..but we had a wonderful weekend with Barney’s parents as always. We always eat like kings when we’re down there, and the weather was so beautiful and warm, it made the visit a real treat despite the terrible drive both ways! We did take some pictures while there, so I’ll have Barney put those in the gallery, hopefully this evening.
Can you believe Lindsay is already over three months old!?
We’re all heading down to the Oregon Coast to celebrate Easter and Jerry’s birthday this weekend. I’m sure we’ll take the camera, so make sure you check back on Monday or Tuesday for adorable new photos! Heck, I might even blog while I’m down there!

While I was in Portland last week, I went and got my hair chopped off. Barney was expecting it to be shorter, but I didn’t have the guts to go too short all at once! But it’s above my shoulder….that’s a start! I’ll have Barney take a picture and post it in the galleries so you all can see it up close.
