Poor Little Girl

Poor Lindsay seems to have caught my cold…..I’ve had a stuffy nose for about a week now, and I was really trying to be careful and wash my hands a lot and all of that so that she wouldn’t catch it…..didn’t seem to work. Her nose has been a tiny bit runny, but I’m mostly worried about the stuff I can’t see, but I can hear! I don’t want it going down into her lungs and giving her bronchitis or anything like that! I’m constantly sucking her nose out with the nasal aspirator we got from the hospital. Let me assure you, this is not Lindsay’s favorite game. I imagine she thinks I’m sucking the life out of her through her nose!
Every time she tries to breath in deeply, she starts coughing, poor thing. I can’t decide if I should take her to the doctor, or if I’m just being paranoid…..feel free to leave a comment and let me know :)

This happened to Nikolai a lot. There are no decongestants they can give someone so small, so the doctors always just brushed me off and made me mad. The best anti-worry solution we came up with was to put a pillow under the crib matress when he was sleeping, so there was nothing to suffocate on, but he was up and less able to choke on his own mucus. I doubt this is an approved method of dealing with baby-cold, but it worked for us.
